XA 6.5 on 2012 R2

Hi all,

 

I have a client who claims to have taken a XA 6.5 running on 2008 R2  and upgraded the box to 2012 R2.   They claim that citrix is running fine.   I know this is not supported, but is it even possible?   

I believe the client is getting mis-information from their subsidiary.  

 

If it is possible, what are the long term consequences of this?

I didn't think that was possible either but one never knows until they try it. XenApp 6.5 may not even be supported anyway at this point.

If so I guess one has nothing to lose.
