Recommended Posts

Restoring the VM from a snapshot before the upgrade would have been the easy way. You should

be able to mount your install CD and boot and do a repair if its just a boot type issue. Depending 

on how badly damaged the VM is you may have to install fresh and mount that disk and get you 

data moved over the hard way. If you have a backup you could of course restore from that.

yes, that exaplain the vm but not the create a new vm.

 

My best guess is I try to install Unitrends and connect to iscsi.

 

This for some reason would not recognize my  NAS so I remove the iscsi and removed the untrends vm.

 

It may corrupt the iscsi and the vm (fyi it was the only VM that had a unitrend agent on it

 

I try to remove it did a force reboot and that when both the vm got a blank screen and I could not create vm on the original iscsi storage
