VM 2016 has blank screen

I have xen server 7.x a vm has try to upgrade and now white or blank screen.

I even try boot up using iso as first boot order nothing but a blank screen

 

How can I repair and start up this image

Restoring the VM from a snapshot before the upgrade would have been the easy way. You should

be able to mount your install CD and boot and do a repair if its just a boot type issue. Depending 

on how badly damaged the VM is you may have to install fresh and mount that disk and get you 

data moved over the hard way. If you have a backup you could of course restore from that.

Is there adequate space on your storage device? What's the OS of the VM?

There 600 gb in storage and try create a windows 2016 server

I have solved this by creating another iscsi on my qnap and creating the new image to this iscsi

Strange behavior. Maybe the original image got corrupted is about all I can think of?

yes, that exaplain the vm but not the create a new vm.

 

My best guess is I try to install Unitrends and connect to iscsi.

 

This for some reason would not recognize my  NAS so I remove the iscsi and removed the untrends vm.

 

It may corrupt the iscsi and the vm (fyi it was the only VM that had a unitrend agent on it

 

I try to remove it did a force reboot and that when both the vm got a blank screen and I could not create vm on the original iscsi storage

Any sort of added package can indeed sometimes lead to unexpected consequences!

Sounds like you have more going on than just a VM that won't boot.
