No HDX on Citrix XenDesktop

Hi all,

 

I have a problem on some remote desktops created on XenDesktop, indeed I have no sound, no microphone and no webcam.

Obviously this seems to be a policy but I can't find out which one. Do you have any idea?

From Studio check the following, you can do a search with the keywords:

• Client microphone redirection
• client Audio redirection

also on the Citrix receiver desktop viewer drop down, go to preferences > connections

• Microphones and webcams > connect automatically
• preferred webcam

if you manage the endpoints, you can configure client side settings using GPO's to enable them automatically.

Apart from what pavan900 suggested on policies, for HDX to be working, you need to ensure below ports are open on network in which the virtual desktop resides.

 

UDP: 16500 - 16509

UDP: 3224 - 3324

TCP: 1494 and 2598
