On-prem Citrix Studio Install

Hi All,

 

I wanted to find out if it is possible to install Citrix Studio on an on-premises management vm that can be used with Citrix Cloud?

 

Of course with Citrix Cloud you don't have direct access to the delivery controllers so would you point Studio to the cloud connectors?

 

I haven't been able to find any information on this.

Short answer No. Is there a real problem you are trying to solve by installing on-prem Studio ?

Thanks for getting back to me.

 

The issue I would like to get around is latency. I am not 100% sure and I am only speculating but I suspect Studio is being published from the US? Either way coming from Australia to anywhere but Australia introduces a bit of latency. This is enough to make the interface feel quite laggy and unresponsive.

I think it is not possible to use Citrix cloud using Citrix Studio on an on-premises management VM. Of course, if you would like to use Citrix cloud, you need a VM that is migrated to cloud as well. Delivery controller is handle with the Citrix vendor.

Are you using a demo Account ihr full license? There is a difference in performance.
