XD7.15 - SCVMM2016 - No shared Storage available

Env:

3 Node Hyper-V Cluster with one CSV Lun (OS 2016)

1x SCVMM 2016 Server for management

2x DDCs + STF

 

- Cluster Validation successfully

- SCVMM shows up the CSV on all Hosts as avilable Shared Storage

- Win7 VM is proper running on the cluster

- Hosting Connectiion successfully detects the cluster when connection

- SVC Account is SCVMM Administrator & local Admin on all Hyper-V Nodes

 

On the second page when selecting the Storge Modell i got: "unable to deteced any Shared Storage"

When switchen to local the same appears with "local" Storage.

 

What do i miss?

Controller connects to the Hyper-V Hosts using Port 445 to discover Storage. Can you verify if this port is open on both DDC and Hyper-V hosts?

Hi, We have a Setup Similar and the problem was with cloud connectors to hyper-v by port 445 never arrives and we have to open that port.

Can the DDC access either the Admin share or the user shares of the hyperv machines,?

 

In the DDC try and access \\<Hyperv fqdn>\c$ and see if that works
