USB attached DVD burner passed through as network drive

Steve Downs

Question

We have a usb attached DVD burner that last week would pass through properly as a DVD burner. We could read and write to the. However, this week the drive passes through as a network drive. We have no idea what changed in the environment to cause this to happen. We've gone through and reviewed the presentation server policies but don't see any issues.

Can anybody shed some light on what is causing this? We've tried with two different DVD burners. We've also tried them in another environment where they pass through properly as DVD burners.

Thanks.

Can you shed some light on how you got it to pass through into you VDI session that allowed users to write to a DVD?
