tail to inventory logs under /var/mps/log when you add this to MAS and see where it's failing
-
Can you check event logs under /var/mps/log and see what's is happening there? It should give you some clue.
-
Please check if the profile is correct on MAS and it should have the same username/password that you use to login to SDX
-
yes, that's correct but currently, there is no way to do that from stylebooks.
-
Strange. Are you able to login with new username/password that you have set in new admin profile on SDX?Also, check the communication type on MAS with the instances in system settings
-
sure, we will discuss this with our leads.

Do I have to restart the instances after pushing the new profile?
No, you do not have to restart. Are you continuously getting these even though you have re-added the instance with a new profile?

Currently, we do not have explicit unbinding action supported via stylebooks.Unbind commands are fired only when config packs are removed. The default cipher group is added by netscaler.Although Your requirement can be achieved using config jobs.

Hello,
I'm finishing up configuring my MAS and am submerged by netScalerLoginFailure: nsroot from two of my four VPX instances (two couples in HA).
I pushed a new administration profile via SDX but the messages keep coming.
Does anyone have any advice?
Thank you all
After changing the profile did you re-added them again with new profile in MAS?.Try clearing that old event as well and see if you still receive it

Hi,
Simple question. Does anyone know how to unbind/remove a ciphergroup using StyleBooks?
I just cannot figure it out.
you can delete the stylebook config pack where you have configured that group which in turn will remove the cipher group including its binding. Can you share your stylebook?

I'm trying to update the default management SSL cert on the MAS appliance using a wildcard cert I have exported from our netscalers. The Key and cert file have been selected as well as the password entered, I hit OK and get the prompt that MAS will be rebooted. Hit OK and the files are uploaded but appliance doesn't reboot and doesn't apply the new cert. Any advice? Are there cli commands to perform the SSL cert install, or logs somewhere i can check?
It should go for a restart and if it's not, please open a support case and need to get it investigated.

There is no way to take nstrace like we have it on netscaler but there is a tcpdump utility that you can use from shell and grep for that appflow port like from shell you can use the command :tcpdump udp port 4739

Restart nsnetsvc process or reboot the netscalers if its feasible so that process will restart and check
Also Make sure rpc passwords are same on both the nodes.you can check with below command
show rpcNode
Also what is the netscaler version here:?

Max,
I would not recommend changing anything in system level files which may cause some other issues. We have a fix for this issue coming in next upcoming build. Thanks for your cooperation so far.
