[Machine Creation Services servers and XenServer high availability]

Environment:
XenApp 7.15 CU4 LTSR using Machine Creation Services running on XenServer 7.1 CU2 in a muti-server pool environment using XenServer high availability

Question:
Should we enable the XenServer HA capabilities on our Machine Creation Services servers? What are other's who use these capabilities doing?

 

My concern is if we have XenServer HA configured on the MCS servers when we push an update to the MCS servers and MCS shuts them down to do the update XenServer HA will try to start them. This could interfere with the MCS update process.

I am facing the same problem. How does this capability work? I can find nothing about how to set it up.

 

I have an open case with Citrix support but even they don't seem to know anything about it or how it works.
