  1. I know this is an old post, but it is one of the first ones that came up, so I will add my comment hear.  I am running 12.1.57.18 and noticed that I can add an STA as fqdn initially but later it goes down.  After testing I was able to see that it was going down following an HA failover.  The communication would use TLS1.2 when working, after 1 or 2 failovers I could see the client hello from the NS using ssl3 even though ssl3 is disabled on all ssl vservers on the NS.  I am also using 2 Gateways, one for HDX/Authentication and one for just HDX to eliminate the second pin prompt for smart card authentication.  Once the STA's go down, they have to be removed from both GW's before they can be added back using fqdn.  I have an open case and asked them to escalate it as a bug.

  2. Does anyone know how to install the Citrix Director web site on the D drive?

Not having web sites located on C is a security requirement.

I know with StoreFront you just install IIS ahead of time and then add a second site to IIS that is located on the D drive.  Then during the StoreFront install it prompts you for which website to use.  Director does not prompt for the website to use during the install.  If you add a second site in the IIS and then delete the previous default site it still installs to c:\inetpub.

    Thanks

  3. I am running XD 7.11 on AWS.  I am deploying several Windows 8.1 images with VDA 7.11.  Image preparation works fine until I install Session Recording.  Once SR agent is installed I get the "Image Preparation Finalization Failed" error.  The InternalErrorMessage: Image Preparation did not complete.  Status 'NotSet'.

Has anyone else seen this?  I have tried uninstalling VDA, deleting c:\programdata\citrix, and reinstalling VDA.  I have tried SR agent 7.13 but get the same issue.

I have also tried imageprep logging but it only appears to show a timeout, no particular errors.
