You can try stop broker service on DC1 and re-start broker service DC2 and check whether the registration happening to DC2.
if its not you can re-move DDC and re-add

Does the Computer account of the Delivery Controller have access to the DBs on the new server? (security Logins)
As Dennis, make sure the Machine account should be in administrative group in new SQL server

Screen shot saying " unable to communicate the database"
so please check that way

Hi,
So after creating the VDA have you set the proper functional level?
if that also done.
Try one machine clean VDI removal with VDACleanupUtility and install the latest. also try to post the screen shot of the error

On this address IT says;
A Delivery Group can use machines from more than one catalog; however, those catalogs must contain the same machine types (Server OS, Desktop OS, or Remote PC Access). In other words, you cannot mix machine types in a Delivery Group. Similarly, if your deployment has catalogs of Windows machines and catalogs of Linux machines, a Delivery Group can contain machines from either OS type, but not both.
According to this information can I use 2 machine catalogs(windows and Linux) and 1 delivery group from different operating system's application on one storefront address? I did not understand clearly.
@ faith baykan : yes you can use machines from different catalogs, but you cant mix different OS type in One Delivery Group.

I dont think we have same options as XA6.7 in XA7 ...
if you go in director Filters- All sessions - Choose the columns which you need to display. There most of the available options.
In powershell you may get more information through below commands, but not same as XA6.5
Get-BrokerSession -MaxRecordCount 99999 | Select-Object BrokeringUserName,SessionReconnection, ConnectionMode, ReceiverName, AgentVersion, ClientPlatform, ClientVersion, ConnectedViaHostName, Protocol, SessionSupport,SecureIcaActive

@ Cornelsen01 - thanks for this...

Even i could not find the proper command through powershell, some times i used get-broker machine
Better to use the Director colsole to get more accurate information which you are looking

Hi
Sound like some kind of delay to loading the profile.
Please check any kind of profile related settings (roaming profile/citrix profile management)

If you need to remove the host connection, you can do through your GUI also,
Open the desktop studio-configuration-Hosting, right side you can see the options.
if you are using power-shell, run the get-broker hypervisorconnection - so you will get the information about hypervisor connection,
later you can follow the link which Mr.Adam provided. thanks

after a long time
get-brokermachine -cataloguid | remove-brokermachine

Thanks James, there also i posted to understand more about this new changes.

Hi All
I have few questions
i have One site with 4 Controllers, so among 4 controllers one ddc will be acting as Primary and other 3 will be secondary ? is that correct?
If normal operation all 4 controllers equally share the vda registrations? is that correct?
if Primary lost the connectivity with SQL, then among the 3 DDCs secondary controller election will start? so that secondary dcc will do the registrations for entire site - is that correct?
other 2 ddc will be mute for the vda registrations ? is that correct?

Hi
as ganesh mentioned on below article you can check this too

Hi
It is not good idea to region based replication if Citrix infra fully down.
Normally people will host Data Collector, XML servers in Primary site and Secondary site
Suppose if have 4 Data Collector, 4 XML in De Site - people will deploy 2 DC/2 XML on Data Center De-1(Frankfurt) and another 2 DC/2 XML on Data Center De-2 (Munich). the same way you can put the worker also. So 1 site down other can provide the information with out any issue.
Note: you can create zone in different region but you have to think about the replication latency

Hello
Try this
Get-BrokerAccessPolicyRule -DesktopGroupName 'Give Desktop Group Name' | select -ExpandProperty includedusers| Select-Object Name
-
After restarting citrix services from all controller, issues went off.

XenDesktop7.6
I am getting strange behavior on xendesktop7.6 on hypervisor connectivity.
In Director there is no indication for hypervisor connectivity failure
There is no issues for users to launch there Desktop.
Even I checked get-hypservicestatus its OK
But when I ran the command from DDC as Get-BrokerHypervisorConnection
state is Unavailable.
I re-started the Host service from one of the DDC, but no luck.
any idea from anyone much appreciated.

its strange...
here I cant say issue with machine, is there any noticeable event when this user accessing the applications from the faulty machine.
also check any specified process running when user is trying to access the applications.
-
Suspecting the issue with user profile, because all other users ids worked with same machine
you can re-create/reset the user profile and check
also you can try with re-install the citrix client on user machine
-
after the domain admin password reset, users could not able to connect remotely means the password changes didn't get reflect on domain/forest level replication.
users can able to do the remote with same password - is that correct
users cant able to connect remote with re-set password - so password changed, but its not getting replicated somewhere.
-
Hi
My understanding is about your issue.
1) Changed the Domain Admin Password : is this password for accessing the XenApp console or Server
2) Is this User ID, used for XenApp Configuration?
-
Hi,
instead of going for script you can achieve through citrix policy.
Remove Group from Application with powershell
in XenApp 7.x
