Eexactly that is correct. The VDAs have not changed and have been running with 2203 for some time, the workspace app has not changed.
I remembered that if we blocked all but one server, the registration worked without any problems. We were able to reproduce this with all servers.
The following error was displayed in the Director when the connection did not start. "client error other".

We found another similar article here. Is the problem with 2203cu2 back.

Hello,

unfortunately we no longer have the eventid because we restored a backup of the 1912 after the error. The vdas are already running on 2203LTSR. The problem occurs when launching desktop or applications.
In the event log, however, there was no error to be seen, only information about the session being closed. But there was never a session.

we would like to update citrix studio and director to version 2203ltsr. The upgrade worked, but unfortunately we got the error described in the link after the upgrade.

Hello,

we opened a ticket with citrix and got a hotfix for the profile manager. After importing the new file, the problem no longer exists. We will get feedback when the problem is officially fixed.

Yes we have tried the container. With the container, the .vhxd file is in the users profile.

If we start outlook now, a link is displayed in the user profile, but the file is still uploaded to the server
Outlook takes about 60 seconds to start. Outlook displays"is being processed"
the vhxd is also quite large, for me e.g. 2.5GB. We have no problems with Windows 2012R2 and 1912.

Hello,

since I updated to 2203 cu2 I am experiencing issues with the Outlook ost-files. I configured via gpo the default save location for these files, but Outlook still places them in C:\Users\<user>\Appdata\Local\Microsoft\Outlook\outlook.ost rather than the intended network drive. This only affects the ost-file, all the pst-files are saved in and accessed from the network drive specified by the gpo.

I have noticed that when I recreate the outlook profile, the desired path for the ost-file ist displayed in the profile settings und data files. But only until I end my citrix session.

This problem seems rather small, but every time a user start a new citrix session and opens up Outlook for the first time, the ost-file is newly created and downloaded even though it already exists elsewhere. This leads to a loading time of up to one minute and in some cases even longer.

Hello,

we have updated our citrix environment from W2012 1912 to W2019 2203. We bought the same Terminal Server cals (per user) as for 2012. In the W2012 environment we don't have any device calls. In the w2019 environment, the terminal server reports that no licenses are available for anonymous access. The session will be disconnected in 60 minutes. Do we also need additional device cals from W2019? Is it possible to hide the message (60 minutes)? Access to the applications is less than 60 minutes.

Hello

we have update the the citrix VDA from 1912 to 2203. After we enabled the new GPO for "Folder Streaming" some AddIns in MS- Word can not be load. The problem is, the files in the folder AppData\assembly\dl3 were not streamed to the loaded profile. We add the folder to to the GPO "Folder to synchronize" but the error is the same. When we disable the GPO "Folder Streaming" everything is fine.

Is it possible to enable the new feature with working Addins?

Hello Forum,

we have published MS-Edge with a website on a iOs Device. If we click in text fields, the keyboard does not appear automatically. The citrix policy "Automatic keyboard display" is enabled.

If we open the website with the safari on the iOS device or on a windows 10 tablet, the keyboard appears as desired.

If we open the website in a published application Chrome, Edge, Firefox, Opera, the keyboard does not appear automatically.
Does anyone have an idea what we can do?

The Citrix Version is 1912CU2.

In the configration for Receiver for Websites in the Storefront Console the HTML 5 Receiver is not used.

Hello Forum,

we want to upgrade to Storefront from version 7.15 CU2 (3.12.2000.8) to 7.15 CU5.

The setup exist with a Citrix Extensible Meta-Installer error (Code1603).

We edit the file Citrx.Deliver........Transition.ServiceHost.exe and change the the version in all lines from 3.6.0.0 to 3.12.0.0 an stop all Citrix services and the Microsoft WWW-Service.

But the error is the same.

What we have tried so far:

Change Citrx.Deliver........Transition.ServiceHost.exe line 4 with 3.12.0.0 and 3.6.0.0
Stop the Citrix ApplicationPools on the IIS
Stop all AV Services
Delete Folder "programdata\Citrix\Storefront Install

In the attached file is the eror from the CitrixMSI error log.

Can anyone help us?

Hello,

now we have the Enterprise lincense.

Now i configured a virtuel server an a authentication profile in the AAA section. To the AAA virtuel server i bind a advanced authentication Policy. The first factor is LDAP and the next factor is Radius. To the Radius Policy i bind a Login Schema with "NoSchema".

Now the Login page open with username and password. The Login with the ldap credentials fails and in the Background the radius send the sms.

Where is the second page? With a dual schema the second page opens after the LDAP credentials, but the radius not create the sms.

What can i do?

Hello Nick,

we solved it. The error was:cWe had this entry "!ctx_localappdata!\Microsoft\Windows\Caches" in the folder deny list too.

Then we changed "Anmeldeausschlussprüfung" to "Delete excluded folder and files".

After this changes it works witout Problems.

Hello,

we upgrade from version 7.15.2000 to 7.15.3000 on Windows Server 2012R2.

In the policy for the profile manager we configured "Folder to Mirror" --> "AppData\Local\Microsoft\Windows\Caches".

Now we turn off the registry key "Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\ImmersiveShell\StateStore\ResetCache" there are no Icons in the Start Menu, but the Desktop logon is fast. When we turn on the registry key, the logon is slower, but we see the Icons.

It is same problem with the VDA 7.15.2000.

Does anyone have the same problem?
