What firmware are you leveraging?
Gateway authentication may not support advanced policies. -
I had this issue and just created a new one and applied it.

Citrix support reported my issue as a bug and will be addressed in a "future" release.

Due to the low temperatures across the US, I was asked to power off non-essential VDIs in order to conserve energy on Friday
What I noticed is that the assigned persistent VDIs powered back up when the peak window was reached. The Delivery groups is set to:
AutomaticPowerOnForAssignedDuringPeak = falseAutomaticPowerOnForAssigned = true
We did not see the same behavior on the 7.15 environment. Has any one heard of a bug? I didn't see a fix in the notes for CU2..

Issue was fixed by internal CTX280659.
It's basically the same steps as CTX339978 but for the default certificate- 1

This is a new environment. When trying to import a Windows 11 OS Layer getting the error "The issuing certificate does not have a usable private key."
I followed the steps outlined in CTX296764 but it did not correct the error.
Any thoughts on how to troubleshot? Thanks.

I always liked my customers too much to put them on Windows 11 - so nope ?
I wish my leadership had the same opinion.

Have you worked with Win11, FSLogix, and OneDrive Sync? According to https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/sharepoint/sync-vdi-support this configuration is not supported and our Microsoft Technical rep told me it may be a little buggy.

my discussions with customers was pretty much anything net new was UPM containers where I would have positioned FSLogix before, but also always delving into the need for containers at all, and for those that had fslogix, there was no reason to rip it out by any means
We are preparing\researching which path to take with our Windows 11 non-persistent VDI We implemented FSL for Windows 10 and have been pretty happy with it. The concern is that Microsoft seems to be showing little interest in FSL development which might be an issue down the road. Deploying on UPM might be a safer choice.
Thoughts?

My exposure has been Win10\Win11 based VDI only at this point with MS Teams. We pay pretty close attention to the MS release cycle and our tenant.
I miss the days of known release cycles. -
The Teams client version appears to be dated. I'd start with upgrading to a newer version.

So I have deployed Windows 11 into my test lab, and it works greats with 2106 and 2109 Citrix VDA. However when the base machine has a vtpm added to it in VMWare the provisioned machines don't create the necessary vtpm.
Is there a way to add this functionality when provisioning machines with MCS?
Did you make any progress? Just starting to try out Win11 on VMware

I am using 2201 on a MacBook Pro Intel Monterey 12.1 without issue.

The Linux VDA appears to be impacted. But won't really know till Citrix support provides updates.

I'm more familiar with the a Citrix ADC configuration but I would focus on DNS.
For single URL we have internal DNS pointing our 10.x.y.z IP and external pointing to 167.x.y.z. We just recently switch our external DNS from ADCs to F5s. -
Seems to be an unknown from three years ago too.

I see this as well but just run delprof to clean up the cached profiles. Never focused on what the root was.

There are reports of people having issues setting .PDF to open with Chrome. Seems to work with other ProgID's such as Adobe.

Three weeks and a couple of front line support techs recirculating the same questions and finally one of them tried it and reproduced the error. No WEM when installed with the command line. Case has been escalated.
Citrix support can be so frustrating at times.

From the CLI navigate to shell and:
/mps/db_pgsql/bin/psql mpsdb -U mpsdbuser -p 5454 -c "set schema 'Owner'; delete from maintenance_job where name like '<name of the maintenance job>'"

I created a support ticket this morning.
-
Citrix support went quiet after all the usual throw it at the wall steps.
-
I never followed up on.
-
I created a support incident on it to get feedback from Citrix support.
switching from deprecated classic session policies to advanced session policies seems to break the auth mechanism
