[AppConfig for Receiver]

Is it or would it be possible for Citrix's MDM XenMobile (understanding this isn't the correct forum for this side) and Citrix's App Receiver to become part of the AppConfig Community? This works on both iOS and Android.

This would allow for apps to have to have data pre-populated in it so an enrollment tech or whomever is enrolling devices not to have to config all aspects of the apps that are used.

This would be a huge help to me as a XenMobile Administrator and a huge help to the folks doing the enrollments.

 

Curious if other admins are interested in this, or if I am insane. But I know a buddy of mine uses another MDM that utilizes AppConfig and the ability for him to streamline the same installs I am configuring has me well, jealous.

[XenMobile 10.3.6 Patch Experiences]

Curently we are experiencing issues with public app store and delivery group install on iOS which I have raised a support call with Citrix for.  I am not too sure whether this has been introduced by the upgrade but don't recall seeing the issue prior to 10.3.6.

 

I have my test environment on 10.3.6 and my prod on 10.3.5 and I am seeing the same thing noted above, issues with apps from either the public app store or VPP for iOS and delivery groups installs. If there is a device that has not been enrolled it will get all the items in that delivery group, however, if an app is added to that delivery group it never gets pushed to the device, even though it is set as required.

I am seeing this behavior on both environments.

[XenMobile 10.3.6 Patch Experiences]

Was curious about experiences once folks get a chance to install this patch on their systems. Any positives or negatives that they encounter with this 10.3.6 release.

This is no where near a fix or even a reasonable solution and i FULLY agree this option need to be introduced into XenMo - but I did find in my testing (on my test environment) that if i completely blew away the AD config that the LDAP users went away as well in the Manage -> Users section. 

I cant recall if i rebooted the node(s) or simply logged out then back in but I do remember the users being dumped.
