    we also had this issue with one of our customers and I also was able to reproduce it in my testlab. Aaron O'Reilly found a workaround:
    Do the following on your Storefront servers:
     

    [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\.NETFramework\v4.0.30319]
    
    "SystemDefaultTlsVersions" = dword:00000001
    
    "SchUseStrongCrypto" = dword:00000001

    You don't need a reboot. After that SF can talk to XML and STA via SSL again!
