Hi, I am attempting to set up a udp-ecv monitor for NTP traffic where I am querying for the status of the server.

Recommended Posts

I am sending the following UDP Packet:

#000000000000000000000%NETSCALER-UDP-ECV-MONITOR

I see the NTP server processing and sending back a reply which starts with the $ symbol (indicating that the NTP server is healthy / in sync etc) but when I try to query for the $ within the response the backend server is flagged as offline,

If I use MONITOR within my query of the response the backend server is flagged as healthy.

I have tried formatting the query using regex ^$.*MONITOR.* (and multiple variants) but cannot seem to query for the $ within the response

Any Advise greatly appreciated!!

Jay
