Error setting up CVAD controller in Provisioning server

I lost my Dev database server along with the DDC databases. I had to setup new delivery controllers and I am trying to reconfigure PVS to point to the restored database.

When I step through the PVS configuration wizard I get to the point where I need select the delivery controllers, but I get a message

Quote

 

This controller belongs to CVAD site ___, but other servers in the farm are already registered to site ____.

Provide a controller that belongs to the CVAD site used by the other servers.

 

I need to register this PVS site with the new Brokers, but I am stuck. My Search Fu is weak today.

Any suggestions?

Sounds painful Derek.  I wonder what it means by 'other servers'? If that means PVS servers maybe you can take all of them off line except the one you are running the configuration wizard on.

But, it might be getting the information about the old site from the PVS database, and if so, I have no idea show to get in and fix that, except for completely re-creating the farm.

There are my ideas for what it is worth.
