UPL illegal characters in path

We are testing UPL. 

The file path we are leveraging is:
\\servername\CitrixAppLayer\users\%username%\UPL

We are seeing a tester that gets the following error:

The tester tried 3 times to connect.

• Test 1: illegal characters error
• Test 2: Worked no errors
• Test 3: Illegal characters error

We have other tests that have not seen that error at all. It is a small group 4 testers.

I'm not sure why the inconsistent behavior that is based on the same gold image.
