Convert MPX into SDX with existing SDX drive

Hi all,

We have actually some netscaler SDX 8900 devices and I have just recovered from another installation a MPX8900 that as I know is the same hardware so I'm planning to keep it for maintenance purposes but I have some questions about it. 

The main doubt here is if I replace the MPX8900 system drive with one of the SDX 8900 system drives the device would boot and work properly.

According to this link an "special" SSD drive is needed to perform the conversion as is needed to perform some BIOS changes and installation of some services.

Could someone has tried to swap system drives between SDX and MPX devices and checked?
