Citrix on- premises migration to Azure VMware solution

Hi There,

I’ve got a project assignment to migrate a Citrix on-premises site 2203 LTSR cu3 with workloads on VMware sphere to Azure VMware solution(AVS). I’ve stumbled upon this article and it tells that first the control plane should be moved to Citrix DaaS and then workloads to AVS. I was wondering if we could move the control plane and storefronts as well to AVS, lift and shift migration.  Any license or support complications from Citrix vendor? Or is it necessary that the control plane should move to DaaS?
