CPSM ADSync problem

Aleksandrs Reksts

Question

Hi!

I am new to CPSM.

I have two different ADDC. One DC (DC1) need to sync created users to another DC (DC2). We are using ADSync  with CPSM for this.

Few days ago sync stopped. I checked ADSync logs and see this error:

DefaultSource    Error    2    Failed to upload user 'UserName' because Failed to get user 'UserName': Failed3 to find the "ConnectionStrings" property "OLM.NET". Error: GetProperty: CheckPropertyExists3: CheckPropertyExists2: CheckPropertyExists1: FetchPropertiesBase2: SQLProperies:
Error fetching Application Properties. A network-related or instance-specific error occurred while establishing a connection to SQL Server. The server was not found or was not accessible. Verify that the instance name is correct and that SQL Server is configured to allow remote connections. (provider: SQL Network Interfaces, error: 26 - Error Locating Server/Instance Specified) Stack:    at EMS.Cortex.Session.GetProperty(String ApplicationName, String PropertyName)

I see that error is saying "Verify that the instance name is correct and that SQL Server is configured to allow remote connections. " but how should I do that?

CPSM SQL server is running. Restarted all CPSM and domain controllers. Tried to clean ADSync queue nothing worked. No major changes was performed to infrastructure, that could cause this problem.

Help would be really appreciated.
