Workspace App with Netscaler and AzureAD as IDP no PIN promt for Securitykey

we have an onPremise Citrix Environment with a Netscaler as gateway.

Netscaler is configured as SAML SP and EntraID as IDP.

Citrix FAS is used for SSO to the VDA's.


Everything is working when we access the gateway via browser. 

It is also working when we use CWA (2309) and use Authenticator App as second factor.


Now we enrolled Yubikey Security keys for some users. When we use CWA and choose "Windows Hello or security key" to verify the identity nothing is happening. We do not receive a PIN prompt.

Workspace App is sitting and waiting (see screenshot) forever.

What can we do to user Workspace app together fith yubikey?
