"You'll need a new app to open this ctxgeoloc link" message appears for every user - everytime

we have installed new Windows Server 2022 with VDA version 2308 and have a strange problem.

Every time users log in, the following message appears:
"You'll need a new app to open this ctxgeoloc link".


The window disappears immediately when you click anywhere.

Does anyone know what this is about and how I can get rid of the message?
I could not find anything on the internet about ctxgeoloc.

We have the exact same issue. It is in the 2308. If we revert to 2305 it goes away. We opened a case with Citrix, but so far they have been worthless.

Here is my thoughts:

Our "Allow applications to use the physical location of the client device" Citrix Policy is disabled. This setting does not change the behavior whether or not it is enabled or disabled.

I believe this is a probably a bug with their "Geo location routing preview" embedded in the 2308 VDA in conjunction with Citrix Cloud. We do not have a cloud account configured.

I also looked for a ctxgeoloc.inf (driver) on our systems with 2308 installed and cannot find one. So maybe it is looking for that or a similar missing file.
