Bernd Roth Posted August 22, 2023 Posted August 22, 2023 (edited) Hello, after updating WEM from version 1912 to 2305 the Workspace App (v 23.5.1.83 ) GUI randomly changes to a different design. Where do i configure that setting so that i can define the Workspace App GUI design that i prefer? Thanks in advance and kind regards Bernd WEM-Upgrade-Issue-01122022.txt WEM-Upgrade-Issue-01122022.txt Edited August 22, 2023 by Bernd Roth
1 Jeff Riechers Posted August 23, 2023 Posted August 23, 2023 That is due to how the rendering agent changed between the two. You will need to do an ipoll or a workspace refresh to get it to go fully to the new look and feel. 2
0 Bernd Roth Posted August 24, 2023 Author Posted August 24, 2023 Hello Jeff, thanks a lot for your quick response. With 'workspace refresh' you mean for example the possibility to refresh the workspace app manually via WEM -> Administration -> Agents -> context menue of worker -> 'Refresh Workspace Agent(s)...' ? And with 'ipoll' do you mean the command line parameter - ipoll in the selfservice.exe context like described by Carl Stalhood in 'How to Script/Automate Workspace app and Receiver Self-Service'? Excerpt: '...Running the command selfservice.exe –init –ipoll –exit starts SSP, performs a refresh (interactive poll) from the current provider, and forces a clean exit.' Link: https://www.carlstalhood.com/workspace-app-for-windows/ Kind regards Bernd
0 Jeff Riechers Posted August 29, 2023 Posted August 29, 2023 Correct, it is a refresh done with selfservice.exe, not the WEM Workspace Agent.
