Shared Desktop loose IP address after reboot-CVAD 1912/VMWARE ver.6.7

Darman

Question

Hi Everyone,

Environment: CVAD 1912/VMWARE ver.6.7;  Shared Desktops -Windows 2016.

We have recently changed IP Scheme, updated Host connection.

when Shared desktops are rebooted , some of them loose the IP address, and 169.### shows up.

Does any one know any reason why this is happening ?  ( this is the first time we experience this issue).

Any help is much appreciated.

Thanks,

Akiyo

Does your DHCP scope have enough address space?  Yes.

Are you using vSphere Distributed Port Group? Does the Distributed Port Group have enough ports?, Yes , I just double checked, we do have enough port Group.

Just to add some more information  on this,  the current setup ,is VMware Network  Distributed  Switch with 2000 Ports, only 200 Virtual machines in use.
