Hypervisor Connection not found error from REST API after scope change of Citrix Admin account

Question

Hi there,

We are currently testing a Secure Client API account for Citrix DaaS to create Linux machines in GCP. We have noticed that our code is breaking with the error "Hypervisor Connection not found" when the scope is limited to just the Machine Catalog and Delivery Group associated with this Hypervisor Connection and Resource Location. When the scope is set to "All" the code works fine. I have cross-checked this admin account using the PowerShell SDK and it can see only the single Hypervisor Connection when the scope is limited, but sees all Hypervisor Connections when the scope is set to all.

I have raised this issue with Citrix Support to get an explanation for this behaviour but they have referred this back to this Developer forum. We would prefer to limit the scope of this account to only the Machine Catalog and Delivery Group it needs, but it appears that it cannot reference the same Hypervisor Connection when the scope is limited as opposed to the scope "All". Is this expected behaviour? Thanks in advance for any help.

Michael
