Citrix disconnects during active session

Christopher Eng

Question

Recently we have been having a couple of our users disconnecting their citrix session while they are actively online. This is happening onsite as well as remote. They receive a popup "session disconnected" before citrix shutsdown. Normally these users are active in a zoom conference call.

We have already checked network with no errors and swapped their thin clients. The instances that are happening are:

1.       Citrix shuts down but the thin client stays powered on and does NOT count down to power off. Sits at the blue screen. User reboots and their citrix session is still active

2.       Citrix shuts down and the thin client does power down. User reboots and their citrix session is still active

3.       Citrix shuts down and the thin client does power down. User reboots and their citrix session is a new session

onsite hardware/software

Dell Wyze 5070

Dell ThinOS 2211 (9.3.3096)

BIOS 1.20

Citrix 22.9.0.21.3

Zoom Citrix 5.11.9.21750.8

Dell Optiplex 3000

Dell ThinOS 2211 (9.3.3096)

BIOS 1.5.3

Citrix 22.9.0.21.3

Zoom Citrix 5.11.9.21750.8

Wondering if anyone has come across something like this. Not everyone is having this issue and does not happen all the time, but it is to the same persons.
