VDA installation on Data Disk

There is no need to have a separate data disk for the VDA.   All best practices should keep the VDA to a single drive.

 

Previously dedicated data disks were required for performance and segmentation, but with virtual environments the need for that separation is no longer needed.

 

A d:\ drive will be created for non-persistent machines for storing writecache data.

Its client security recommendation to have separate disk for applications installation. Question is whether  On Master server if we install VDA on Secondary Drive / Disk instead of OS disk machine creation might faill right??
