Windows and Mac Workspace apps no longer storing authentication token?

I noticed that recent versions of Windows (2302) and Mac (2301) do not appear to be properly saving authentication token to disk. So when a user reboots their machine, they are required to reauthenticate upon launching Workspace app again.


Windows Workspace app 2205 does not exhibit this behavior, nor does the most recent iOS app versions.


And Citrix documentation says storing the token for this very purpose is enabled by default: https://docs.citrix.com/en-us/citrix-workspace-app-for-windows/authentication.html#authentication-tokens


Anyone know what's up with this?
