Citrix DaaS Applications

Luke Herridge

Question

I am trying to remove the need for our on-prem appv servers as we move to DaaS and use citrix to deploy our existing appv packages, this is working well for publish applications. However we also offer the users a full desktop but the appv packages are not being auto published to the desktop when they log in, they only seem to appear if they have been run via a published app.

How do i get citrix DaaS to publish all the apps to the  desktop as the user logs in? the AutoLoadTriggers option is not available in the appvclient.

We use pvs with a non-persistant image, which reboots each night, i have enabled -Autoload in the appv client and set to 2 so the packages are loaded and available in the cache but I'm struggling to get the client to auto publish the apps?

If I manually publish the apps via powershell they appear.  Just wondering if there was a setting for the appvclient i could use? I couldn't see it so thinking my only option to do a script in WEM to run the powershell using publish-appvlientpackage *

any suggestions welcome!
