Published App starts but fails to initiate properly

Question

I have an application that will launch but fails to fully initialize. This appears to be an issue related to when the session is created and the time it takes the app to launch.

 

If the application is terminated in Citrix Workspace Connection Center and then relaunched without the session being fully logged off, the app opens with no error, and all is well.

 

This is the error we are receiving: "An error has occurred while initialization of the Appserver."

 

Please let me know if anyone has seen this before or knows of any policies that may help resolve the issue.

Hi Ryan

try this one:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Citrix\wfshell\TWI

 

Create the following DWORD value ApplicationLaunchWaitTimeoutMS.

 

Default is 60000 (decimal / value is in ms) which is 1 minute. 

 

Set it to 120000 and try again. You can use group policy preferences. You need to open a new session (restart isn't necessary).
