Citrix application does not fit into the screen for a set of users whose window resolution is much smaller after they upgraded to Citrix Workspace 2207



Hi All,


We have few thousands of users using our Citrix application. So a particular location users are using a PC with display of lower resolution (1024x768). After they upgraded to Citrix Workspace to 2207 version, their application is fitting to their screen but the content has become bigger, resulting in the addition of toggle bars for viewing the whole content. Now, the customers are forced to use the toggle bars to check all options causing waste of time. This was not an issue before they upgraded their Citrix version.

We tried uninstalling the Citrix version and reinstalling 1912 Workspace version but it's still no change. Tried setting their display resolution to Recommended size and scaling to 100%.

Even if we give F5, their content is not fitting.

But nothing works.


Any ideas people...?

I pretty sure this is related to the DPI support changes with Citrix Workspace App 2206 and later, please refer to https://support.citrix.com/article/CTX460068/dpi-support-changes-with-citrix-workspace-app-for-windows-2206 and https://support.citrix.com/article/CTX230017/configuration-of-dpi-matching-and-clientside-scaling-with-citrix-workspace-app-for-windows

If you want the old behavior you have to set your Citrix Workspace App High DPI setting to “Yes” and not to “No, use native resolution” which is the new default behavior.
