Connection interrupted: Citrix Workspace app 2007 for Mac, macos 10.13.6

I just downgraded Citrix Workspace on a Mac running High Sierra (the latest OS this 2009 Mac can run). I think the version of Citrix after this one is the latest that High Sierra can run.


It has been a few weeks since Citrix Workspace started "crashing" on this machine, i.e., it shows the "connection interrupted" message, tries to reconnect, then gives up and you close the work session.


Can this issue be remedied or is this Mac no longer supported by Citrix?

Note: I'm trying version 2008, just in case that one works
