SSL Security Error attempting to access log history

Glenn Dowling1709151535

Our Xenapp 6.5 databases were recently migrated to a newer version of SQL server (2019) with compatibility mode turned on to reflect the original SQL version (2008 R2).  With a bit of Google searching, I was able to get the IMA service to start by updating the MF20.DSN file to use the "ODBC Driver 11 for SQL Server" (after installing said driver).  The problem I am having is with the log database.

Even though I was able to update the Configuation Logging database configuration within AppCenter successfully - it said it connected successfully - I get this error when trying to obtain the log using "History" --

"An error has occurred. Details:
An error occurred while connecting to the logging database.
[DBNETLIB][ConnectionOpen (SECCreateCredentials()).]SSL Security error.
Invalid connection string attribute"

I have installed the "SQL Server Native Client 11.0" driver and even updated the MF20.DSN successfully... to no avail.  TLS 1.2 was also enabled on this particular Win2008 R2 server.

I know this is a shot in the dark to get this fixed.  Any ideas or thoughts?
