Help with postBodyLimit in Citrix ADC WAF

Simon Cooper

Question

Hi,

have a customer that has implemented Citrix ADC WAF. (v13.0 latest build)

They are having issues with large file downloads being blocked by their WAF.

The violation they are seeing is "Post Body Limit".

I have looked at docs etc. and found the below

This tells me the max size file can be 10GB but how do I set it?

Looking at my home office VPX the option to set this max value seems to limit the setting of Signature Post Body Limit and not Post Body Limit

How do I set the Post Body Limit please?

thanks

Simon

In newer ADC, edit WAF Profile. Click Security Checks. One of them is Post Body Limit.

Thanks Carl, appreciate the response.

I did find the edit WAF profile as you described.

When you select the "Set Post Body Limit to Maximum" it sets it to 4294967295 Bytes (4GB) and not the 10GB that the docs say it can be set to.

However, in my testing I found that it does accept manual entry of 10000000000 Bytes (10GB) so my initial problem is solved.
