How do I get the id of a document that's been sent for signature?

Sarah Carter

Question

Hello,

Using the callback_url of the Right Signature POST /public/v2/sending_requests endpoint is too confusing. So I was hoping there was a different way to get the id of the document that's been sent for signature?

"/public/v2/sending_requests", "/public/v2/sending_requests/:id", and "/public/v2/sending_requests/:id/uploaded" only return the sending request id which does not help in checking the status of the document.

If it's not possible, can someone please explain to me how to use the callback_url? I understand that's where the post request with the status is sent, but how do I get that data? Is there a special kind of url I need to create? My app is a SPA and I don't have a live server. I'm using an Azure function app for all of my API endpoints

Thanks,

Sarah
