removing machine catalog from studio or with Powershell does not work

I'm trying to remove two machine catalogs that have been used for trouble shooting and test. Both ways, via Studio or Powershell, don't work. The error message in Powershell is: Unable to delete identity pool due to associated ad accounts in database. If I try to remove the ADAccount with the PS comand Remove-AcctADAccount -IdentityPoolName Test2 -ADAccountSid S-1-5-21-3... (the Sid comes from Get-AcctADAccount) no error message appears but an output with the information FailedAccountsCount 1.

My sneaking suspicion is that it doesn't work because the associated computer account in AD does not exist.


Any help would be appreciated.


My environment:

Citrix Studio 1912.0.4000

Windows Server 2019
