ADC HA pair with NSIP on different VLANs

Dear Team

We have an ADC HA Pair which is cross site ( NS1 in DC A , NS2 in DC B ) .

L2 Network is stretched across both DCs . So same VLANs / SNIP etc   on both sites

HA setup in NON INC Mode and NSIP of both NS1 & NS2 is in the same VLAN

can we change the above HA Setup as below  ?   should we expect any changes to the failover behavious compared to the original HA Setup  ?   Will the HA Communication happen only across  the 2 *  NSIP VLANs   ?

1.   HA Config changed to INC Mode

2.  NSIP on NS1  and NS2  to be on different VLANs

3. SNIP / VIP  etc remain the same   as before

You can wipe the config on one node, change its NSIP, then join it back to the other node. If you don't wipe the config then you might have IP conflicts.

In INC mode, each node has its own SNIP.

Dear Carl

Thank you for helping out

We  thought of using INC mode  to have the 2 HA Nodes on different NSIP VLANs .

With the INC mode , are we allowed to use same SNIPs on each HA pair node     ?
