Taking snapshots returns vdi_snapshot: EXCEPTION SR.SROSError, The VDI is not available [opterr=Argument list too long (LV scan error)]

Hi

We have an old xen server:

release                : 3.10.0+2
version                : #1 SMP Tue Dec 9 12:45:36 EST 2014

till this day everything was working fine, but now trying to take a snapshot returns The VDI is not available. I traced the logs and found this in SMlog:
