SSO 365 with netscaler

Greetings,

just read the following article on office 365 SSO,

single-sign-on-for-office-365-with-netscaler-unified-gateway.pdf (citrix.com)

However it states it is for unified gateway, does that mean it is also applicable to the ICA gateway ( virtual apps and desktops gateway)

or the Vserver must be a pure unified gateway.

Much Regards

That is quite an obsolete article.  As Johannes mentioned, you don't need the Unified Gateway, but you must have at least Citrix ADC Enterprise (Advanced) license.AAD integration requires the AAA-TM feature because it is based on the SAML. It does not matter whether you assign that to CVAD Gateway or Unified Gateway. If you ask for the ICA proxy mode of the gateway, it just says you do not need advanced features like Smart Access/Advanced Endpoint Analysis/SSL VPN. It does not affect the authentication process. Don't forget you won't have SSO to domain-joined CVAD infrastructure unless you implement FAS.
