Possible to identify which gslb site a user's session was sent to? Ability to control which site a user is sent to?

Recommended Posts

I was wondering if there's a way to identify which gslb site a user's session was sent to and if so, is there a way for me to setup a method of controlling which gslb site gets a user's session? The scenario is, in non-prod, one of our gslb'd applications isn't behaving correctly and during troubleshooting, I asked the app admin to reproduce the issue and while the app admin was doing so, he asked me if the above questions.

My initial thoughts were to add a rewrite policy for each gslb site location that injected a custom response header named [whatever] and the value would be something that indicated the gslb location you hit. As for having a toggle-like control over the flow of gslb traffic to a location, I'm at a loss, other than writing a custom control that leverages the Nitro API to modify the LB_METHOD on the gslb site in question.

Also, we have the ADM setup and configured as well.

Any and all input is appreciated and thank you in advance for your time!
