Video stops working when connecting external monitor

I have been using the collaboration software "Teams" from Microsoft, it has video conferencing features, it works fine until I connect an external monitor to my MacBook Pro M1 Pro, then all video parts in the program goes black, everything else works as expected, I can just not see other people or presentations.


And while I am here, can you please update your software to run natively on Apple silicon now, it's been available for over a year, thanks.

Update, well the 2201 version has the same problem, often video in teams does not work, and external monitor seem to be involved, it almost never works with one connected. And I also noticed it still not native Arm so it consumes much more energy than needed, it's been over a year since Apple released the first system with their ARM chip, 8 months since Microsoft remote desktop was fixed....
