Help with Automating CVDSW with Powershell (Start-PvsProvisionXdMachines)

EUT Citrix Team

Question

Hi,

I was looking for some assistance with a script I am trying to put together. It is using Start-PvsProvisionXdMachines within PowerShell, and at the moment builds machines without a problem. The issue I have surrounds the start number of the naming scheme. I have a specific requirement where the first machine on each host starts with 0 rather than 1. When using the GUI, I would pre-create an AD account with the appropriate "name0" account then import it during the wizard process to get around it. Putting this script together, I'm finding it challenging to automate the same via PowerShell.

Is there a way in PVS to stipulate the starting number of a naming scheme to be 00 rather than 01?

Alternatively is there a way of importing existing machine accounts via the Start-PvsProvisionXdMachines command?

Running XD 1912 CU2 & PVS CU2, SCVMM  as hypervisor. The machines need to be Gen2 too.
