Automatic migration of existing application profiles

Question

Hi @ all,

got some Problems with "automatic migration of existing application profiles".

So whats the Plan?

Migrating from Server 2016 to Server 2019.

As mentioned in the Article https://docs.citrix.com/en-us/profile-management/current-release/configure/automatic-migration-of-existing-app-profiles.html , I use the Variable "!CTX_OSNAME!".

Also "automatic migration of existing application profiles" is enabled.

When I login to Server 2016 and Server 2019, UPM creates the following Folder:

As I understood, Settings in:

1. HKCU\Software

2. %userprofile%\Local\Appdata\ and %userprofile%\Roaming\

should be migrated to the new profile.

When I check Settings in Adobe, Notepad++, or just create a key "HKCU\Software\Test" or create a folder "%userprofile%\Roaming\test" I recognize that nothing had been migrated.

I read that.

Profile Management first locates the previous profile folder and then migrates it to the application profile folder in the user store in the following order:

\fileserver\userstore\user1\Win10RS3x64

\fileserver\userstore\user1\Win10RS2x64

\fileserver\userstore\user1\Win10RS1x64

\fileserver\userstore\user1\Win10x64

\fileserver\userstore\user1\Win10RS5x64

\fileserver\userstore\user1\Win10RS6x64

\fileserver\userstore\user1\Win8x64

\fileserver\userstore\user1\Win7x64

\fileserver\userstore\user1\Win2016

\fileserver\userstore\user1\Win2012R2

\fileserver\userstore\user1\Win2012

\fileserver\userstore\user1\Win2008

\fileserver\userstore\user1\Win2019

If none of them is available, Profile Management ends the migration process and returns an error.

So I checked Logs in UPM and also found that UPM did not found an old Profile to migrate:

Is there someone who can help? Is there something I forgot?

What did I do wrong?

THX & Kind regards
