"External authentication error" on old MacBook (2009, El Capitan)

Jack Lamers1709162939

Hi all,

I am the proud owner of a still working MacBook Pro 2009 running El Capitan.

When I logon to the workspace website of our company, I use email address, password and MFA to logon.

After that, I receive an error " External authentication error".

I understand that this OS misses several certificates (installed the ISRG Root certificate so after september 30 I can still view websites).

Anyone who knows why I cannot open my published apps and desktops on cloud.com?

unlikely to Windows, I cannot download a certificate and install it so I have no idea why I cannot connect to the workspace of our company.

Not a great issue, because normally I use a newer Windows or Apple Computer but it is bothering me what I cannot connect.

Thanks in advance for reading this and hopefully answer.
