importing pvs vdisks after migration

Amin Eideh

Question

Greetings Gentlemen,

we migrated our pvs database from a ingle sql to an always on deployment,

everything is fine and info is showing, expect for the vdisks section it is empty, even thouhg the vdsisks file exists on the store location locally on each server,

tried to import them, however the console cant detect any vdisk in the store.

any suggestions as i dont want to re-image once again.

much regards

I dont know why this would happen and we'd need a problem report from the server to diagnose but it seems like during the SQL migration the information on the vdisks was lost from the database.

An option to make progress would be to import the vdisks from their current location -- the files are all there so you should be able to import the vdisk into the PVS store...
