@Matt Thorley How did you uninstall it from Add/Remove Programs? Was this version 2109.1? Like others, I get stuck on the "initialization" screen and nothing happens.

I ran the Citrix Cleanup utility first. Then attempted the uninstall from Add / Remove programs.

This was using 2109.1.

Since reinstalling my Workspace App is working as expected.

I'm experiencing the same issues.

Workspace app wouldn't load.

Tried to uninstall - sits at initializing.

Ran the Cleanup Utility - says its completed but checked the log.

The following worked for me, I suggest to give it a try:

1) Use the Citrix Clean Up utility  https://support.citrix.com/article/CTX137494

2) Restart your PC

3) Manually run the uninstall (Add or remove programs - Citrix Workspace - Uninstall)

4) After a successful uninstall just run the setup and do a full install

Thanks Tomas -- total life-saver!

I was starting to lose hope as the tech guys at work weren't able to assist as I'm using a personal computer so super stoked that this worked for me as well.

What's weird is I tried using a Citrix Clean Up tool and that wasn't working but it must have been different to the one you linked.

Anyway, hope this is the last time I'll need to troubleshoot Citrix issues -- they really need to clean up the software.

I have experienced the exact same issue as the above and so I followed the instructions.  However, once I ran the Clean Up Utility and attempted to install the latest version of Workspace, I will get a popup stating that "you already have this version of Citrix Workspace installed, so the installer will exit".  So looks like there is something still existing.
Any ideas on how to clean this up, or get the installer to run?

Thanks that worked a treat.

I installed the version from the Windows Store on Windows 10 as the standalone install did not work for me.

Does anyone have the issue that they don't have permission to download the Clean Up Utility? I use Citrix on my personal machine with various clients, and am having the same uninstall issue...but it says that I can't download the Utility that is linked here. Alternate solutions or ways to get access to it?

same here

I am unable to download the clean up utility (access to content is denied with my account).

Is there anywhere else we can get this?
