Dear Team

We have requirement to Load balance SSH Servers  .

We dont do ssl offloading at ADC .

Can we use SSL_Bridge  protocol with port 22 for this  or should we use TCP port 22  ?  .

i see a related discussion  https://discussions.citrix.com/topic/261312-how-to-balance-sftp-servers/ . Does this hold good for my requirement as well  ?

Both protocols should be fine. SSL_BRIDGE adds SSL Session ID as a persistence option. Otherwise they are pretty much the same.

Thank you Carl for the quick help   ?

I was a bit lost after reading  the discussion  . https://discussions.citrix.com/topic/261312-how-to-balance-sftp-servers/  . especially the below statement.

Is this still relevant  ?

" The service type for SSH/sftp should be tcp, not SSL. SSH, despite it's naming similarity, does not use SSL, rather, it uses it's own security layer.  "
