Windows 10 login screen appearing after launching XenDesktop

Dan Murch

Question

Hi all,

We're having an issue and have been for quite some time where when users are logging on, they are presented with a second log on screen which then auto-fills their credentials after 10-15 seconds, it then logs in. This is effecting both internal & external users.

We've checked and there are no policies configured to prompt the user for credentials and it also isn't hard set via the registry.  For testing purposes, we've created a fresh new image and rolled out to a test machine and we don't experience the issue which rules out any potential issues with the Storefront or SSO?

Current set up:

VDA: 1912 CU3

Provisioning Target: 1912 CU3

OS: Windows 10 Enterprise 1909 (also updated to 21H1 but made no difference)

Any advice will be much appreciated, thanks

What is the login before this?  Are they doing SAML or AD username and password.  Connecting via Storefront, or Gateway?

This is the first login screen:

We then select the Desktop:

We are logging in via storefront with AD credentials
