Teams call in CWA XenApp cannot consult to mobile phone or PSTN external number, though working fine in local Teams client.

Question

Hi to all, we experience a annoying issue with Teams calls within the VDA.

When receiving a call in the CWA session we want to be able to transfer this call WITH CONSULT to an external number or cellphone number, (not Teams App).

With a direct transfer, I can dropdown to a cellphone number or a PSTN number by dropping down the 'Chat' button, however with consult, the dropdown menu is gone and the button is called 'Consult'.

Already spoken with Microsoft support and Premier Support, they told us this is by design and waiting for Citrix to support multiwindow feature.

Does anyone have experience with this bug/issue/design ;)

Please see attachment with difference between local and VDA Teams transfer with consult.

Thanks in advance!

Indeed MultiWindow is required (which is why it does not work on browsers either although I never tested it).

MultiWindow will require a CWA and VDA updates.
