Are you using your gateway (vpn vserver) in full vpn mode or just as an HDX Proxy (ICA Proxy) for cvad access?

For full vpn access, you may need to adjust the Linux vpn client default settings in the session profile.

Vpn Client feature list (by client including linux) here: https://docs.citrix.com/en-us/citrix-gateway/citrix-gateway-clients/gateway-clients-feature-parity.html

In your. Linux version support here:  https://docs.citrix.com/en-us/citrix-gateway/current-release/client-system-requirements.html

If your vpn vserver is relying on features such as epa scans, these are not supported on the linux devices.  Also, see nfactor authentication.

For HDX Proxy only configs; you just need a workspace app on a compatible linux client type.  NO vpn client requirements; same limitation on epa scans and potential nfactor configs.

Hello, Rhonda. Thanks for the reply. I have this selection of options: ICA Proxy OFF; Plug-in type Win/MAC OSX; Clientless VPN Mode Disabled; EPA plugin Upgrade options are set to "-"; Also have a LDAP policy bind on this VS. I'm newbie in Citrix at all and trying to puzzle out

So, you are in full vpn mode.  If you also see the vpn client upgrade options section includes linux, you should be fine.  IF it doesn't include a linux client type, what is your adc firmware version?

Then just confirm your linux client with the supported OS's list in the second link.

IF split tunnel is in use, you will also configure intranet apps.
